The MC Group is a multi-brand truck dealer and contract hire business. It employs more than 300 people, has a £70 million turnover and runs depots across the southern counties.
It prides itself on being proactive and quick to respond to customers’ needs, whether they are buying or renting vehicles or using the group's servicing, maintenance and fleet management services.
Creaseys works closely with the company, primarily doing compliance work, carrying out the statutory audits for the various companies in the group, while also dealing with corporation tax and providing general tax advice, along with other business advice as and when required.
MC Group finance director Peter Booth, who is himself a chartered accountant, says Creaseys does a good job. "They are very professional in the way they do their business and we are more than happy with the end result."
The MC Group has worked with Creaseys for four years. Before that it used a firm based in Milton Keynes.
Mr Booth said the switch was made because the group, which is based in Kent, felt it would like to work with a local business. Good reports about Creaseys led them to choose the Tunbridge Wells firm.
Creaseys chief executive Emma Roberts said: "We are specialists in integrated personal tax, corporation tax and business advice and our aim in working with clients like the MC Group is to make their lives easier."
