TEAM SECRETARY
Private Client Division

Main purpose of the role:

This role reports to the Practice PA and provides secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client Division. This is a diverse role that would suit someone who enjoys balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Summary of duties:

  • Preparing all correspondence including:
  •  Audio typing, copy typing and e-mail dictation
  • Client reports and letters of engagement
  • Finalising draft letters
  • Scanning and electronic filing
  • Managing Partner diaries
  • Organising and co-ordinating meetings, presentations and training sessions either in house or at external venues
  • Managing incoming telephone calls dealing with queries and communicating effectively to partners/team members
  • Assisting with central administration activities such as marketing mail shots, covering holidays, supporting reception and assisting with post


Skills, knowledge and qualifications:

Good IT skills including extensive knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft packages including:-

  • Word

  • Excel

  • Powerpoint

  • Outlook

  • Good audio typing skills, with the ability to produce letters and reports with a high technical content

  • Excellent communication skills with strong grammatical skills

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role and environment

  • Good planning and organising skills

  • Attention to detail


Further details
  • Monday to Friday 36.25 hrs per week

  • Salary in the region of £18 - £21K depending on skills and experience
